At the completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Differentiate between neuromusculoskeletal causes of buttock pain
- Identify the Signs of the Buttock
- Recognize the causes of leg pain and their signs and symptoms
- Identify the signs and symptoms of a stress reaction or stress fracture
- Recognize screening for infectious and inflammatory causes of lower quadrant pain
- Differentiate between vascular causes of lower quadrant pain and their signs and symptoms
- Identify guidelines for immediate medical attention for lower quadrant pain
- Differentiate between systemic/medical and neuromusculoskeletal causes of chest pain
- Identify the "three Ps" when screening for chest pain of a cardiac nature
- Recognize the signs and symptoms of myocardial ischemia in women
- Differentiate between the causes of breast pain
- Recognize factors associated with breast cancer
- Identify the most common breast cancer locations
- Differentiate between the musculoskeletal causes of chest, breast or rib pain
- Differentiate between the neuromuscular or neurologic causes of chest, breast or rib pain
- Identify system and medical conditions as causes of shoulder and upper extremity symptoms
- Recognize the associated signs and symptoms in screening for a viscerogenic or systemic cause of shoulder pain
