- Differentiate between symptoms of the Pelvic/Hip/Thigh area – Colon Cancer, Pathological Fx of Femoral Neck, Osteonecrosis of Femoral Head, Legg-Calve Perthes, Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis & Septic Arthritis of the hip
- Differentiate between symptoms of the Knee/Lower Leg/Foot/Ankle area – Compartment Syndrome, Deep Vein Thrombosis, Peripheral Arterial Occlusive Disease, Septic Arthritis, Cellulitis, Knee Fracture & Ankle Fracture
- Differentiate between symptoms of the Cardiopulmonary Diseases – Myocardial Infarction, Angina, Dissecting Aortic Aneurism, Pericarditis, Pulmonary Embolus, Pleurisy, Pneumothorax, Pneumonia, Bronchitis, Emphysema, Asthma & Cystic Fibrosis
- Differentiate between symptoms of Gastrointestinal Diseases – Colorectal Cancer, Pancreatic Disease, IBS/Chron’s Disease, GERD, Peptic/Gastric Ulcer, NSAIDs, Appendicitis, Diverticulitis & Cholecystitis
- Differentiate between symptoms of Urogenital/Endocrine Disease – Pyelonephritis, Nephrolithiasis
- Differentiate between symptoms of the Shoulder/Cervical Region – Myocardial Infarction, Cervical ligament instability, Cervical myelopathy, Cervical/shoulder nerve entrapment, Pancoast’s Tumor
- Differentiate between symptoms of the Craniofacial Region – Meningitis, Primary Brain Tumor, Subarachnoid hemorrhage, vestibular dysfunction
- Identify medical screening questions for each of the systems
- Recognize case studies for screening as the primary care provider
Criteria for Obtaining Continuing Education Credits:
