At the completion of this course, participants should be able to:

1. Identify the function and connections of the fascia
2. Recognize factors affecting mechanical properties of the fascia
3. Recognize the patient benefits of IASTM/STM
4. List indications for IASTM
5. Recognize current IASTM research and its outcomes
6. Differentiate between IASTM tools and recognize when to use each
7. Identify IASTM principles/parameters
8. Recognize common indications for IASTM in each lower body muscle group
9. Identify how to perform a thorough initial assessment and determine the appropriateness of IASTM for a patient
10. Identify IASTM scenarios through case studies

Criteria for Obtaining Continuing Education Credits:

A score of 70% or greater on the post-test
