Course Description:
Lumbar Stenosis….it’s more common than you realize. According to recent studies, approximately 250,000-500,000 individuals in the US have symptoms of Lumbar Stenosis. Do you have a complete rehabilitation program for your patients? If not, let Robert McCabe, DPT, OCS, CSCS, XPS help you develop one. In this course, Dr. McCabe will cover:
- Identifying common symptoms and what to expect on a physical exam
- Establishing a proper rehabilitation program including joint mobilization, core stabilization, therapeutic exercises and HEP

At the completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Recognize Treatment Based Classification for Lumbar Stenosis
- Identify common clinical symptoms
- Identify the differential diagnoses commonly associated with Lumbar Stenosis
- Recognize physical exam findings and special tests
- Identify the proper components of a rehabilitation program for Lumbar Stenosis and how to implement them
- Recognize the use of joint mobilization for Lumbar Stenosis
- Identify absolute/relative contraindications for Lumbar Stenosis joint mobilization
- Identify a core stabilization program for Lumbar Stenosis
- Recognize Evidence-Based exercises for Lumbar Stenosis
- Identify a home exercise program for Lumbar Stenosis
Criteria for Obtaining Continuing Education Credits:
A score of 70% or greater on the post-test
