Course Goals and Objectives:

At the completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  1. Recognize what neurologic structures emerge from the sacrum and innervate the pelvic region and lower limbs
  2. Differentiate between provocation tests for evaluating Sacroiliac Dysfunction
  3. Identify common medical conditions that affect the sacroiliac joint
  4. Identify which ligaments contribute to the stability of the hip
  5. Differentiate between the grades of muscle strains
  6. Identify and differentiate between common hip diagnoses
  7. Recognize the mortality rate of hip fractures
  8. Identify the presenting symptoms of a patient with a hip fracture
  9. Recognize typical complications associated with THA
  10. Recognize the return to activities parameters associated with THA

Criteria for Obtaining Continuing Education Credits:

A score of 70% or greater on the post-test
