- Identify factors in determining a healthy weight
- Describe factors of an athlete's energy and nutrient needs
- Recognize the carbohydrates role in providing calorie need
- Identify the main energy sources for active muscle
- Identify proteins role in providing energy
- Recognize situations that would require extra protein consumption
- Recognize that a deficit of fat can cause performance issues in athletes
- Identify the role of fats in a healthy body
Criteria for Obtaining Continuing Education Credits:
A score of 70% or greater on the post-test
