At the completion of this course, participants should be able to:

1. Recognize the role of the Therapy Professional as Primary Care Providers and differentiate between possible Sources of Pain
2. Identify findings of Central Sensitization/Peripheral Sensitization
3. Differentiate between Tissue Tension, Ischemic Pain, Myofascial Pain, Muscle Spasm, Trauma, Muscle Degeneration and Joint Pain and recognize subsequent referral Red Flags
4. Identify the possible neurological causes of dizziness
5. Recognize the importance of Reference Standard/Reliability/Common Statistics/Clinical Prediction Rule in Evidence Based Practice
6. Differentiate between common causes of nausea
7. Recognize the importance of the Red Flag Hierarchy and how it assists the Therapy Professional as the Primary Care Provider
8. Identify typical findings associated with joint conditions
9. Differentiate between Monoarticular and Polyarticular joint conditions
10. Using the Clinical Prediction Rule, identify red flags when assessing for possible vertebral fracture.

Criteria for Obtaining Continuing Education Credits:

A score of 70% or greater on the post-test
