• Fractures of the Axial Skeleton, Fractures of the Appendicular Skeleton and Periprosthetic Fractures
• Radiographic evidence of each fracture
• MOI/epidemiology/Surgical vs Nonsurgical options
• Rehabilitation guidelines

Course Goals and Objectives:

At the completion of this course, participants should be able to:

1. Identify types of cervical spine fractures and recognize their MOI and epidemiology
2. Differentiate between types of spinal fractures
3. Recognize rehabilitation guidelines for humerus fractures
4. Recognize the type of force resulting in different humeral shaft fractures and their subsequent rehabilitation guidelines
5. Identify risk factors for femoral neck fractures
6. Identify advantages/disadvantages of intramedullary nailing for femoral shaft fractures
7. Recognize radiographic evidence of various fractures
8. Differentiate between rearfoot fractures and their MOI
9. Identify special tests for a Lisfranc Injury
10. Recognize the surgical and rehabilitation guidelines for metatarsal fractures

Criteria for Obtaining Continuing Education Credits:

A score of 70% or greater on the post-test
